
BIOGRAPHY

JULIAN MORALES
Julian Morales was born in Flushing, New York in 1997 and is of Puerto Rican & Guatemalan descent. His love and fascination for films and filmmaking began in childhood, growing up in a household that loved all kinds of movies and going to movie theaters. He began his career as a filmmaker when he enrolled in Broward College's Film Production Technology program in 2016. While making his student short film, "Wrath", he fell in love with the process of filmmaking. In 2017, he made his first independent short film, "Imperium", which earned him his first award for Directing in 2018. In the years following, he has made several short films which have been selected to numerous film festivals and have earned multiple awards and nominations. In 2022, with his short film "The Fallen", he was accepted into Hola Mexico's Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today program and had his first theatrical screening in Los Angeles among his peers. He has now made his feature film debut with "Her & Him", currently in its festival run.
